Even if your child prefers to bring a packed lunch, applying is important because eligible students generate additional funding (Pupil Premium) for the school. This funding helps us provide: 

📘 1. Academic Support and Intervention 

We target resources to improve progress, especially in reading, literacy and core subjects. This includes: 

• One to one tutoring and small group interventiontoone tutoring and smallgroup intervention 

• Reading programmes led by our Reading Champion 

• Nationally recognised standardised tests to identify gaps 
    

🎓 2. Improved Access to High Quality Teaching  

Funding helps us invest in: 

• High quality CPD for teachersquality CPD for teachers 

• Formative assessment strategies 

• Coaching to strengthen classroom practice 
   

🧑‍🏫 3. Pastoral and Behaviour Support 

We invest heavily in pastoral leadership—including nonteaching Heads of Year—to ensure barriers linked to wellbeing, behaviour and attendance are addressed quickly and compassionately. 
  

📚 4. Resources and Equipment 

We use funding to provide essential items such as: 

• Uniform 

• Revision guides 

• Stationery and specialist equipment 

• Support with educational trips 
   

5. Enrichment Opportunities 

We ensure disadvantaged students can access life enriching experiences, including:enriching experiences, including:
