Christ Church Secondary Academy is a growing and inclusive community where every student is valued and supported to achieve their God‑given potential. As a Church of England Academy, we welcome young people of all faiths, the Christian faith and no faith, and we take pride in the rich diversity of backgrounds and experiences that shape our school. Our vision is grounded in life, light and love, reflecting our belief that students thrive when they learn and live well together in a compassionate and hopeful community.

Our school motto — “Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that we do” — guides our approach to education and relationships. Rooted in the teaching to love one another (John 15:12), we aim to ensure every student can experience life in all its fullness (John 10:10).

At the heart of our culture are our Academy values of compassion, collaboration, strength and aspiration. These values shape our expectations, inspire our students to aim high, and help them develop the character and confidence they need for successful and fulfilling lives.

As a relatively new and growing 11–18 Academy, we are proud of the strong foundations we are building — academically, pastorally and spiritually. Our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students and supportive parents and carers work in partnership to create a nurturing, ambitious and thriving school community.

Beyond the taught curriculum, we offer a rich programme of enrichment, clubs, visits and wider opportunities that allow students to grow, lead and explore their interests. These experiences help them live out our Christian ethos and Academy values in everyday life.
